Christophe Darbord

Christophe Darbord began his career at Pricewaterhouse in the areas of M&A and financial risk management for banks and corporate finance departments, and later built up the European commodity advisory group. He then joined Cargill, where he achieved outstanding trading results through effective strategies, asset utilization, and risk management. 

After leaving Cargill as a division head, he became Global Director of Energy and Biofuels at Bunge. Based in the U.S., he built a profitable global business across the entire energy spectrum, expanding his expertise in trading, asset acquisition, and management across various markets and regions. 

Over the past ten years, Christophe has been active as an entrepreneur in the commodity sector. He co-founded a private investment firm focused on natural resources, acquired and managed industrial facilities, established a hedge fund for trade finance, and developed several projects, particularly in the field of energy and renewable energy. In addition, Christophe co-founded two nonprofit foundations focused on voluntary carbon markets and wealth management.
