As the founder and managing partner of Taurus Advisory, he is responsible for the strategic development of the company and oversees the execution of complex transactions. In addition to his advisory role, Dr. Schmitte is active on the supervisory boards of various medium-sized companies. With his financial expertise and strategic foresight, he contributes significantly to the sustainable development of these companies. His ability to lead complex negotiations and develop tailored solutions makes him a valued partner for entrepreneurs and investors alike. Dr. Schmitte studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University Bonn and earned a Ph.D. in law with a focus on financial topics in 1994. Furthermore, he studied at the EBS University of Business and Law, deepening his expertise in financial strategy and asset management. Dr. Schmitte is married and the father of two adult sons. In his free time, he works diligently to improve his golf handicap and has been an avid sailor since childhood.
