Erik combines a solid technical foundation with deep financial and transaction expertise. Since December 2025 he has been Partner for Austria at Taurus Advisory, responsible for building the company’s Austrian market. He advises mid-sized companies in demanding transformation and transaction situations, with a focus on sell-side M&A, restructuring and distressed M&A. His sector focus lies on manufacturing, industry and family-owned mid-market businesses.

Erik began his career in industry with HTP, AT&S, OMV and European Trans Energy before moving into corporate banking at Erste Group Bank AG. He spent around ten years in advisory, including at PwC (Business Recovery Services) and Deloitte (Corporate Finance Advisory). As Interim M&A Manager, he supported Lenzing AG in evaluating strategic options for its production site in Indonesia, including a potential sale process.

Erik completed an apprenticeship in plastics processing and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management, a master's degree in Financial Management & Controlling from FH Wien, and a master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital & Private Equity from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona.

In his spare time, Erik is a passionate DJ and a keen motorsport enthusiast. He values nothing more than spending time with his friends.
