Amadori Group acquires Lenti

Company that produce ham, specialising in cooked meats

Background

Since 1935, Lenti has specialized in the processing and production of cooked hams and other cured meat specialties. In 1927, the first Lenti delicatessen was opened in the province of Pavia, specifically near the church of Borgo Ticino, followed a few years later by one in Genoa. This history continues to this day, with the company joining the Amadori Group in 2022. The goal of this partnership is to continue enhancing its position in the premium market segment by developing an integrated, Italian supply chain that is increasingly sustainable, thanks to new synergies with the group.

Deal Summary

The Amadori Group and the Lenti family have finalized a transaction transferring 100% ownership of Rugger S.p.A.—a ham production facility in Santena (Turin), specializing in cooked meats and owner of the historic Lenti brand—to the Amadori Group. For nearly a century, the Lenti name has stood for excellence in the production of cooked hams and other specialties, based on exclusive recipes and a high-quality artisanal philosophy.

This acquisition marks an important milestone in Amadori's diversification and growth strategy, which in the coming years will focus on expanding its expertise into new market segments, such as pork and cured meats. The Group aims to focus on premium products, a direction fully aligned with its corporate mission to build a national, integrated, and increasingly sustainable pork supply chain
