Comtel has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in NovaNext, corresponding to 60% of the company’s share capital - an operation that further strengthens its position in the TMT sector in Italy. This marks a significant step forward for the company, allowing it to further expand its presence in key areas such as Enterprise Networking, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, Data Center & Cloud, and Digital Workplace. NovaNext is a company with over 35 years of experience in the ICT sector, and the transaction is part of a broader growth plan aimed at increasing revenue sixfold over the next two years. Comtel has also announced that it will continue to evaluate new strategic initiatives with the goal of further consolidating its market position. In addition to the integration of NovaNext’s expertise and resources, Comtel has entered into a shareholders’ agreement with NovaNext’s minority shareholders, which includes a call option for the purchase of the remaining 40% of the share capital between January 1 and March 31, 2027
