Domino's Pizza is an American pizza chain operating in over seventy countries worldwide. Its legal headquarters is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Founded in 1960 by brothers James and Tom Monaghan, Domino's Pizza is now the second-largest pizza company in the United States, with over eleven thousand locations, primarily franchised. Domino's Pizza was present in Italy from 2015 to 2022, having opened its first branch in Milan. As of July 20, 2022, all Domino's Pizza locations in Italy were closed due to bankruptcy.
A club deal of entrepreneurs, through the investment vehicle DPNO, has acquired the six Domino’s Pizza restaurants in Turin from the Italian Master Franchisee, Epizza S.p.A. The management's plan is to expand the network in the Piedmont region by opening an additional 15 pizzerias over the next three years. The acquisition and subsequent development have been financed by Banco BPM
