Founded in 1953, St Mamet is a leading player in the processed fruit and fruit-based culinary aids market, holding a 40% market share in the canned fruit segment. The company markets its products under both its own brand and private labels, supplying major retail chains and foodservice groups. Committed to sustainable agriculture, St Mamet has secured a significant portion of its sourcing through a long-term fair trade partnership with 150 fruit growers from the Conserve Gard cooperative, whose orchards are located in Provence and Languedoc-Roussillon. Operating from its headquarters in Nîmes and its production site in Vauvert (Gard), the company employs nearly 200 permanent staff and up to 600 seasonal workers.
