Buss AG is a global leader in application-specific compounding solutions with over 70 years of experience. The company develops customized process solutions for the plastics, cable, food, metal and electrical industries. With 130 employees, Buss AG is represented worldwide at locations such as Pratteln, Shanghai, Tokyo and the USA.
Jakob Müller Holding AG, based in Frick, took over the entirety of Buss AG from Pratteln on January 31, 2025. This strategic acquisition strengthens JMH’s “Process Solutions” business area and secures a leading position in the field of high-viscosity process technology. The takeover will enable the Group to significantly expand its range of process engineering machinery and systems, particularly in the areas of kneading, mixing, compounding and cooling.
Buss AG will be integrated into the JMH Group as an independent company. The acquisition combines complementary technologies and expertise in process and mechanical engineering. With the integration of Buss AG, the “Process Solutions” division now comprises three companies: List Technology AG, BBA INNOVA AG and Buss AG.
