Located in Derby, Derbyshire, the company operates from a state-of-the-art 70,000 sq ft facility equipped with twelve ISO-certified cleanrooms (three Class 8 and nine Class 7), each tailored for specific processes or products.
Sterimed Group acquires Riverside Medical, a leading UK supplier of tailored contract packaging for the medical industry. Under the tradename Aseptic Medical Devices, the company has also very successfully developed multi-packed syringes and medical devices for hospital pharmacists and compounders. This acquisition was very complementary to Sterimed’s existing operations and allowed the group to further strengthen its service offering to medical device manufacturers. It also cemented its strategic growth into pharma applications, with both prestigious medical packaging companies offering global presence and creating exciting new opportunities.
