In March 2025, Nestlé announced that it would be relocating its Conow-based products to other European sites in order to increase the competitiveness of its food factories in Germany and exploit synergies within the European environment
The modern production site in Conow manufactures a wide range of hot-filled, pasteurized, and sterilized foods for Nestlé. The culinary products are produced on site by around 70 employees
Under the umbrella of the Sprehe Group, the Conow site can be secured for the long term and the jobs of its employees preserved. The Sprehe Group is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of poultry products, meat and sausage products, and canned goods, with 3,400 employees at 14 locations
Nestlé products will continue to be manufactured during a transition period
