Quadriga Capital, Germany-based private equity firm, and Intermediate Capital Group Plc, the UK-based venture capital firm, have acquired majority stake in VESCON GmbH, Germany-based provider of automation solutions as well as planning and commissioning services for the automotive, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and Schiller Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, the Germany-based provider of automation solutions in the field of automated material handling and intralogistics.
Post-acquisition, VESCON and Schiller will be operated under a new joint holding company, VESCON Automation Holding.
Business of both the companies will be operated under their own brand name. The combined entity will have more than 700 employees and will report revenues of more than EUR 100m
